I’ve realized that somewhere along the way, I started neglecting my social life. The amount of birthdays, baby showers, weddings, and little moments I’ve missed honestly breaks my heart when I pause long enough to think about it. Recently, I saw a friend’s son who is already walking and talking, and in my mind he was still a newborn. That realization hit me deeply. Time keeps moving while I keep telling myself, “just one more project, one more set, one more goal.” Psychologically, I know this is what happens when ambition turns into over-identification with productivity. You start measuring your worth by movement, achievement, and being needed everywhere. The nervous system adapts to constant performance mode, and suddenly rest, presence, and connection begin to feel unfamiliar even though they’re the very things that make us human. Sometimes I tell myself it’s the price of being on a big mission. Maybe that’s true. Or maybe it’s also a coping mechanism that helps me justify how much I work. Either way, I want to say this sincerely: to the friends whose important days I missed, I am sorry. I love you deeply, even when my schedule fails to show it properly. And honestly… if I text you, if I check in, if I make time for you in the middle of this chaos you truly matter to me❤️

I used to crave transformation while simultaneously resisting it. In psychology, this is called cognitive dissonance when your inner desires conflict with your need for safety and familiarity. My rational mind kept choosing comfort, predictability, and emotional security, even when my soul was asking for expansion. And yes… for many women, transformation starts with something symbolic. Hair. Preferably with @splathairdye 🍒 I dedicated an entire therapy session to discussing how terrified I was to dye my hair. It sounded irrational, but it wasn’t really about the color. It was about identity. About letting go of the version of myself I had outgrown. But I made the bold move. Black cherry hair. And I cannot explain the happiness I feel. For the first time in a long time, my outer appearance reflects my inner energy - fiery, expressive, powerful, alive. It feels aligned. It feels like me. If you’re someone who loves stability and familiarity like I do, hear this: the desire for change is not random. That inner voice asking for something new whether it’s changing your hair, moving countries, ending a relationship, starting over, or switching careers is often your psyche asking for evolution. Growth requires uncertainty. Transformation requires discomfort. The comfort zone may provide temporary emotional safety, but it rarely creates reinvention. Psychological resilience is built when we allow ourselves to step into the unknown and discover that we can survive it and maybe even thrive in it. So this is your sign: Do it. Make the call. Yesterday was a masterclass in what NOT to tolerate. I drove 6 hours from LA to Vegas to host a show as an MC. I arrive at Legacy 60 at Circa stunning location… and then chaos hits. No filming allowed. No cameras. No runway for the models. No microphone for the host. Let that sink in. A “show” with no runway, no sound, no content. Just vibes and incompetence. And the person who organized this entire mess? Standing there doing absolutely nothing while it’s falling apart. I took one look at that disaster and walked out. Straight back to my hotel. No payment. Just wasted time and a very expensive reminder: Never attach your name to unprofessional people. What’s actually scary? Events like this still happen. People show up, expecting something real, and leave disappointed because someone decided standards don’t matter. I’m not here to play “Instagram perfect.” I’m here to call it what it is. Respect people’s time. Respect the craft. Or don’t do it at all.

2016 → 2026 A decade, not just measured in time but in becoming. I don’t know if you needed to know this about me, but I have a soft spot for the 10-year reflection trend 🫠 Something about long arcs and quiet evolution feels… honest. In 2016, your Eugeniia was the nerdiest nerd you could possibly find. Studying. Studying. Studying. Collecting degrees in politics because I genuinely believed knowledge was my way of serving the world. That year, I visited California for the first time and fell in love without realizing it would change my entire trajectory. I interviewed strangers on the streets of Poland, not knowing that curiosity would one day become my profession. I lived in a body I barely recognize now strong, muscular, disciplined. Somewhere in between, I continued modeling because it was familiar, instinctive, something I had known since childhood thanks to my mom who is a photographer. A quiet throughline when everything else was still forming. I got married. I volunteered with the Polish Red Cross. I was deep in therapy (since 2014), endlessly hungry for understanding myself and life. No girls’ nights. No distractions. No chaos. No drama. Just work, growth, responsibility, and intention. I was building a marriage, a mind, and a future transforming from a Ukrainian-Polish woman into the California woman I am today. Ten years later, I’m freer. Still hungry just differently. Hungry for depth, for truth, for creative expression, for leading by example rather than explanation. This reflection made me emotional not because it was easy, but because I see how relentlessly I’ve been trying. Trying to grow. Trying to serve. Trying to live in alignment. Life, to me, remains the most fascinating project of all: a continuous journey of self-exploration. Have you looked back at your decade lately? What did it stir in you?
